The air transportation major is national characteristic major, one of the first batch of national Emerging Engineering Education and a national first-class major construction point. This major cultivates advanced applied talents in aviation operations who meet the needs of the development of civil aviation, master sufficient basic theories, expertise and skills in the field of flight dispatch, and meet the international civil aviation training standards.

Aircraft manufacture engineering is an aviation and aerospace major, and a key major in  civil aviation characterized by civil aircraft structure and system maintenance, one major of the Emerging Engineering Education , backbone major of Sichuan Modern Industry College， and aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical personnel in the field of aircraft structure and system maintenance enjoying a high reputation in the industry.

This major aims to cultivate inter-disciplinary applied talents with high-quality in aviation meteorology, who owns good knowledge of atmospheric science, cultural literacy, and a high sense of social responsibility, master the basic knowledge, theories, and skills of aviation theory and applied meteorology, possess innovative spirit, team consciousness, and good practical application ability, have an international perspective, and can engage in civil aviation meteorological observation and forecasting, flight dispatch, and other fields.
